Ongetta is sponsor to the SIC58 Racing Team, and during the last 20 years, it has been supporting young guys in their path towards the MotoGP. We are highly sensitive in promoting all cultural initiatives involving the silk world.
A friendship born
over 20 years ago_
Over the last 20 years, our company supports the young guys in their growth up to the MotoGP, as it has been with Marco Simoncelli.
Our friendship with him and his family starts when this young curly reckless boy was running in minor motorcycle championships, pursuing his dream of the GP. Our company has supported and sponsored through his entire career. Marco Simoncelli always followed his dream with great passion, determination, willingness to grow up and learn, without ever giving up. His example pushed us to support and sponsor other young boys with the same dream and spirit as Marco had, involving them in the team his father decided to name after him: “Sic58 Racing Team”. Since 2019, we extended our commitment to the MotoE: our company deeply believes in sustainability, and together with Paolo Simoncelli we debuted in the category of electric motorbikes.

A Contest for High School
to discover silk world_
Since 2021, Ongetta promotes “I ragazzi dicono” (“The youth says that..”), the contest announced by Silkbynature that tries to connect young boys and girls of High Schools with topics and curiosities related to silk.
Students participating in this Contest this year will be able to investigate and discover the countless sides, the history and the potential benefits the link between silk and sustainability can have on fashion, on our society and why not, on our future.
